PHOCEP: Monte Carlo Event Generator for two-photon exclusive production

The enclosed Fortran code provides public access to the PHOCEP Monte Carlo generator described in:

L.A. Harland-Lang, C. H. Kom, Kazuki Sakurai, W.J. Stirling
"Mass measurement in central exclusive production for a pair of short decay chains with invisible particles"
arXiv:1110.4320 [hep-ph].

Please reference this paper if you use the programme for a publication

The MC generates unweighted events for exclusive two-photon production

pp → p    +    X+X-    +    p

where X is a scalar, fermion or vector boson. For the boson case X=V, the subsequent decay can be included

V± → f± f

where f are fermion states. Spin correlations for this decay can be included. For the scalar and fermion case the two-body decay of X can be included, proceeding according the phase space.

Tunable parameters (number of events, particle masses, cuts etc) are set in the provided card file.
